1000 times 10 is 10,000.

Here's a trick:

When multiplying by 10's, 100's, 1000's, 100000's, etc., just had all the zeros together and keep the 1.

So 1000 (3 zeros) times 10 (1 zero) = 10,000 (four zeros)

Happy to help!
