the secant- secant angle P is half the difference of ots intercepted arcs, that is

40° =
(1)/(2) (QT - RS ) ← multiply both sides by 2 to clear the fraction

80° = QT - RS

80° = 140° - RS ( subtract 140° from both sides )

- 60° = - RS ( multiply both sides by - 1 )

60° = RS
