Benefits: Women now had a source of income after all the men left to go to war, and they could now provide for the family much easier than they usually could
Disadvantages:
1. Married women were worried if their husbands/boyfriends would come back from the war
2. Many women were heartbroken after they had their husband/boyfriend had died in battle, and some of them never moved on and some women were absolutely broken as a result
Immigrants:
Benefits:
1. With many the men going out to war, they had a chance to move in and settle into communities, increasing population as well as business
2. Thousands of jobs were created as a result of men moving out, so many immigrants(men and women) now had an opportunity to get a job
Disadvantages:
1. Immigrants were sometimes not accepted into jobs for their bad English, and men (sometimes translators) were not around to help, leading to many adults looking to find jobs elsewhere.
2. Immigrants were also discriminated against for their skin color, accent, or the way they acted, leading many children and adults to believe that America was prejudiced and not for them
