hello!

Use the slope formula:-

\displaystyle(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

Plug in the values:-

\displaystyle(2-(-4))/(-5-3)

\displaystyle(2+4)/(-8) =(6)/(-8) =-(6)/(8)

Reduce the fraction by dividing the top & bottom by 2:-

-\displaystyle(3)/(4)

\uparrow\sf{Slope}

note:-

Hope everything is clear; if you need any clarification/explanation, kindly let me know, and I'll comment and/or edit my answer :)
