y intercept = 1/2

Explanation:

Step 1:

Formula y=mx+b in Slope Intercept form( whereas m= slope of the given equation, b= y intercept)

Step 2:

Comparing the given equation y = -3x + 1/2

we get m=-3(Slope) and y-intercept b=1/2
