Javier wants his lab partner to tell him if he thinks the article he found for their project is appropriate. Rather than have him read the article, which two parts of the paper could Javier have his lab partner read to get a summary of the article?

Answer: I. The abstract and

II. The discussion

Explanation: An article is a piece of writing on a particular subject which has been published in a journal, newspaper, magazine, on the internet or any form of medium that can be accessed by other people. There are six distinct parts or components in an article and they are:

1. An abstract

2. The introduction

3. The methodology

4. The results

5. The discussion

6. The references

To get a summary of the article, Javier 's lab partner needs to read the abstract which is an overview of the entire article, a summary of the other five components and is usually a few paragraghs; and the discussion where the results are interpreted and compared against existing research or literature review.

These two components give a summary of the entire article.
