Fictions are like hallucinations, you think they are there while they are not and sometimes the life which it portrays deceives the viewer or believer of such.
I've read books and watched movies that are pure fiction but the art of it seem so real and right but in the practical life its never seen but easy to imagine.
In other words, non-fictions are real life events and activities which took place and was brought into black and white for the reader to know and be able to give account of it. In the case of Merchant of Venice, Shylock was so mean to request for Bassanio's pound of Flesh which in the real life nothing of such can happen but it is explained with that line to show how wicked and heartless he was. In Aiye Kwe Armah's Beautiful Ones Are Not Yet Born, he explains the beauties see around thereby making us believe yet the beautiful ones are not yet born, and by that he kept people looking forth for more beauties to come. These are fictions because many believes in them and are fervently waiting to experience that. I like fictions because it makes people fantasize while the real life is purr practical. I would rather read non-fiction books and novels so I can live alright as life is all about practical and not a fiction.
