Hello!

The answer to your question is false.

1/3 is not equal to 1/6 because of the numberator. 1/3 will be equal to 2/6,3/9, and 4/12. The denominator multiplies by 3 and the numerator multiplies by the next fraction. so how to get 2/6 multiply 1*2 to get 2 and 3*2 to get 6. Your answer will be 2/6.

Hope This Helps!

Answer: No, 1/3 is equal to 2/6

Step-by-step explanation: If you multiply the bottom number, the denominator, and the top number, the numerator, by 2, you will get 2/6 which is equal to 1/3.
