Answer:

(x − 2)×(3x+1)

Explanation:

We can use this method:

\begin{aligned}3 x^(2)-5 x-2 &=3 x^(2)-5 x-x+x-2 \\\\&=3 x^(2)-6 x+x-2 \\\\&=3 x \cdot(x-2)+(x-2) \\\\&=(x-2)(3 x+1)\end{aligned}

All I did is Subtracting x then adding x which will not affect the result because -x + x = 0
