Find a formula for the sum of any four consecutive even numbers.

Let X be the first even number.

The 2nd number would be x +2

The 3rd number would be x +4

The 4th number would be x + 6

The sum would be x + x +2 + x+4 + x+6

Which simplifies to: 4x + 12
