Answer:

AC = 20

sine (17) = CE / 20

0.29237 = CE / 20

CE = 5.8474

AE = 19.126

tan (24) = BE / 5.8474

0.44523 = BE / 5.8474

BE = 2.6034

AB = AE - BE

AB (Longest Side) = 19.126 -2.6034 =

AB = 16.5225

I calculate it as 16.5225

Answer:

16.5 inches

Explanation:

180 - 49 - 17 = 114

X/sin(49) = 20/sin(114)

X = 16.5
