Answer:

(x+1)^(2) - (x-7)(5)

Explanation:

The formula for Area of a square is
A=a^(2)

Due to this we figure out our first equation:
(x+1)^(2)

Then we have the inner part and that equation is (second equation):
(x-7)(5)

Since we have our 2 equations, the operation between them is subraction since we don't want the inner part. So the final equation or the answer
(x+1)^(2) - (x-7)(5)

Hope this helps! :D

Answer:

x^2-3x+36

Explanation:

You just simplify (x+1)^(2)-(x-7)(5) and that's what you get. I'm doing the hw right now and it checked as right so trust me bestie :)
