SOH CAH TOA

sin Ф = opposite / hypotenuse

cos Ф = adjacent / hypotenuse

tan Ф = opposite / adjacent

From the diagram above; adjacent is given to be 16 and hypotenuse is given to be 19, since what we have is adjacent and hypotenuse, then the best formula to use is cos Ф

cos Ф = adjacent / hypotenuse

Ф=x° adjacent=16 and hypotenuse =19

cos x° = 16/19

cos x° =0.8421

To get the value of x°, we will take
cos^(-1) of both-side


cos^(-1) cos x° =
cos^(-1) (0.8421)

x° = 32.637

x° ≈ 32.6 to the nearest tenth

Therefore the value of x° = 32.6
