For both point-slope form and intercept form, you need to know the points and the slope. To find the slope, use the formula
m=(rise)/(run) =(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1).

(x1, y1) are the coordinates of first point in the line, and (x2, y2) are the coordinates of second point in the line .

m=(rise)/(run) =(-3-5)/(5-0) =(2)/(5)

We already know the slope, so now we just need to find the y-intercept (b). To find the y-intercept, you can use either points, because they'll come out the same. I'll be using the first point... b=-5-(2/5)(0), with this you find b=-5. Now we have the coordinates and the slope, so just replace them with their proper variables.

For point slope form (equation of line) y-y1=m(x-x1) so (y--5)=2/5(x-0) , in general form it's 0.4x-y-5=0 (general form is ax+by+c=0).

For slope intercept form y=mx+b so y=2/5x-5.

Hope this helps, now you know the answer and how to do it. HAVE A BLESSED AND WONDERFUL DAY! :-)

Answer:

y = (⅖)x - 5

Explanation:

Slope: (-3+5)/(5-0) = 2/5

(0,-5) means c is -5

y = (⅖)x - 5
