First -6 on both sides then divide 1/2 (which would be times 2) and then answer would be 24
Hope this helps :)

Well I think it's D. You subtract 6 from both sides, then you multiply by 2 on both sides to get rid of the fraction:

1/2x + 6 = 18

1/2x = 18-6

1/2x = 12

1/2x * 2 = 12 * 2

x = 24
