A cube made out of lead has mass 12 grams. A side of the cube has length 1 cm. What would be the mass of a lead cube whose sides have length 1.5 cm?

40.5 grams

Explanation:

mass = density × volume

Density is the same

Mass and volume vary propotionallly

12/Mass = (1/1.5)³

Mass = 12 × 1.5³ = 40.5 grams
