in the word problem, it said y is the number of teaspoons of sugar... and u need 4.5 teaspoons of sugar. so how many teaspoons of sugar (y) do u need to make x cups of pudding? and its a good thing u only need to find the equation bc no extra work lol... so it would be x=4.5y
