Answer:

The first five terms are;

8, 12, 16, 20 and 24

Explanation:

To find the first five terms we will simply substitute n= 1, n=2, n=3, n=4 and n=5

into the expression :4n+4

Substituting for n=1

4n + 4 =4(1) +4=4+4=8

substituting for n=2

4n+4= 4(2)+4= 8+4= 12

Substituting for n=3

4n + 4 = 4(3) + 4 =12 + 4 =16

substituting for n=4

4n + 4 = 4(4) + 4 = 16+4 = 20

substituting for n=5

4n + 4 = 4(5) + 4 = 20 + 4 = 24

Therefore, the first five terms are;

8, 12, 16, 20 and 24
