Nadya filled a right rectangular prism with cubes that are 1/2 inch long each edge. She stacked 80 cubes in the prism and filled it to capacity. What is the volume of the prism?

The volume of right rectangular prism 10 cubic inch.

Explanation:

The volume of cube
=a^(3)

each edge of cube
=(1)/(2) inch

so,

the volume of cube
=\left [ (1)/(2) \right ]^{^(3)}

one cube of volume
=(1)/(8) cubic inch.


80 cube of volume
=80*(1)/(8)=10 cubic inch

so the volume of rectangular prisme equal to volume of 80 cube.
