Explanation:

Part A: The slope of the first 2 points is 4/2=2. The slope of the last 2 is 6/1=6. Since 2 is not equal to 6, no further calculation is required.

Part B: Trust Me. A linear, by definition, can be expressed in the form ax + by = c, where a, b, and c are constants. This can be rearranged. Everything else is not a linear.
