You manage an ice cream factory that makes two flavors: Creamy Vanilla and Continental Mocha. Into each quart of Creamy Vanilla go 1 egg and 4 cups of cream. Into each quart of Continental Mocha go 2 eggs and 4 cups of cream. You have in stock 800 eggs and 2400 cups of cream. Draw the feasible region showing the number of quarts of vanilla and number of quarts of mocha that can be produced. (Place Creamy Vanilla on the x-axis and Continental Mocha on the y-axis.) Answer:

See attachment

Explanation:

Let Cream Vanilla be denoted by CV and Continnetal Mocha by CM

Objective function , M= CV + CM, to maximize production of Cream Vanilla and Continnetal Mocha subject to following:

  • Implicit Contraints

CV≥0 and CM≥0

  • Explicit Constriants

CV + 2CM ≤800

4CV + 4CM≤2400

The graph in the attachment shows feasibility region for number of quarts of vanilla and number of quarts of mocha
