to find the equation that is perpendicular to it, there gradients timesed together equal -1

so 1/6 × ? = -1

? = -6

so the start of the equation is,

y = -6x + c

now we need to sub in the coordinates (7,-3) to find the rest of the equation

-3 = -6(7) + c

-3 = -42 + c

39 = c

so the equation is...
