We are given that one centimeter represents 12.5 feet. Thus, the dimensions in centimeters of the scale drawing will be 12.5 times larger in feet for the actual room.

Multiply 10 cm with 12.5 to get the length of the room in feet.

10*12.5=125

The length of the room is 125 feet. Multiply 8 cm with 12.5 to get the width of the room in feet.

8*12.5=100

The width of the room is 100 feet. Now, we multiply the length with the width to get the area of the room.

100*125=12,500

The area of the room is 12,500 feet squared. Let me know if you need any clarifications, thanks!
