The value of f(2) is 18

Solution:

Given that,

f(x) = 2x^2 + 5√(x + 2)

We have to find f(2)

To find f(2), plug in x = 2 in given f(x) and solve to get the answer

Plug in x = 2 in f(x)

f(2) = 2(2)^2 + 5 √(2+2)\\\\f(2) = 2 * 4 + 5√(4)\\\\Simplify\\\\f(2) = 8 + 5 * 2\\\\f(2) = 8 + 10\\\\f(2) = 18

Thus the value of f(2) is 18
