Copper (II) Oxide forms Heavy and Coarse Precipitate
Step-by-step explanation:
The precipitate formed that is copper (II) oxide is heavy and coarse so the technique called Decantation is done to drain the supernatant liquid.
The purpose of this step is to obtain a liquid that is free from particulates usually known as decanting.
Decantation is a process in which a supernatant liquid is drained over by making the container somewhat tilt.
In this method, before adding the sulphuric acid, the supernatant is filtered out and the precipitate is washed out.
