\qquad \qquad \huge \pink {\sf{☁Answer☁}} \\ \\

→ Here,

  • y varies directly as x means that y = kx
  • here value of (k) is not known

by substituting the values of x and y, y = 18 when x = 12

\rm{y = kx} \\ \\ \rm{18 = 12k} \\ \\ \rm{k = \cancel (18)/(12) } \\ \\ \rm{ k = 1.5}

Now, substituting value of k nd x in y = kx

  • x = 132
  • k = 1.5
  • in y = kx

\rm{y = (1.5 * 60 )} \\ \\ \rm{y = 90}
