That’s y2 - y1 /x2 - x1

Given

x1 = -5

y1 = -1

x2 = 5

y2 = 5

Slope = 5-(-1) /5 -(-5)

Negative negative gives positive

= 5 +1 /5 + 5

= 6/10

Divide by two

= 3/5
