Make a triangle with two points on the line.

Count the squares to get rise (change in y) and run (change in x).

Slope=rise/run

For (3), pick two easy points on the line. For example, (-1,2) and (-3,7).

Slope=(y1-y2)/(x1-x2)

Point1 = (-1,2): y1=2 and x1=-1

Point2=(-3,-7)): y2=7 and x2=-3

Slope=
(2-7)/(-1-(-3))

=-5/2

Same process for others. Slope is about incline (think driving up a hill), so for (5) the slope is 0 because the line is horizontal.
