Answer and explanation:
Yes, I would like to have more freedom to design my own schedule.
I understand parents and other adults trying to influence our decisions in life. They have more experience, they have learned from their own mistakes, so they see how they can prevent the following generation from making those mistakes or going through avoidable pain. On the one hand, I see the benefits of their instructions. On the other hand, I see giving teens and young adults responsibility over certain areas of their own lives as an experience from which we can all benefit. Later in life, we will be responsible not only for ourselves, our diet, our schedule, our health, but also for our families, our jobs and careers. How can we be expected to succeed when we have had others making decisions for us? I would very much like to be responsible for my own schedule. Deciding how much time I get to spend studying, playing, interacting socially etc. will help me realize what needs to be changed according to the results I get at school and in life. That will help me prepare for bigger challenges in the future as well as learn time-management skills that shall be crucial later on.
