You have two steps to do to complete this problem, combine like terms and simplify. You'll be simplifying (x−4x)+6x^2+8 to −3x+6x^2+8.

((x+6x^2-4x+8))/((x+2))\\\\((x+4x)+6x^2+8))/((x+2))\\\\(-3x+6x^2+8)/(x+2)

Hope this helps, now you know the answer and how to do it. HAVE A BLESSED AND WONDERFUL DAY! As well as a great rest of Black History Month! :-)
