The ratio of pigs to cows is 3:10. If there are 52 pigs and cows in total, how many pigs are there?

You have to add 3 and 10 to get the total amount of cows and pigs then multiply 3 by 4 to get 12 then 10 times 4 so then you get 12:40 so 12 pigs
