Besides math name a reason why someone would need to find the volume of a cone, and a prism?

I need help!!!!!

The volume of a cone is given by the equation:


V=(1)/(3)\pi r^2 h

where

r is the radius of the cone

h is its height

We have several examples of cones in real life: for instance, the cone of an ice-cream, it has a conic shape.

The volume of a prism instead is given by:


V=lwh

where:

l is the length of the base

w is the width of the base

h is the height of the prism

Again, we have several examples of prisms in daily life: for example, boxes have usually the form of a prism, so it can be useful to know their size in order to calculate their volume.
