I put 34.7x5.2 into a calculator and it’s 180.440 but when I do it it’s 179.94 why am I getting that number?

Misplacement of digits while doing multiplication manually.

Explanation:

When 34.7 is multiplied by 5.2, is done by using the calculator, we will get 180.440

The same calculation when done manually, we will get,the answer as 180.44

While doing the multiplication manually, there may be some chance of misplacing the digits, so that the answer will be different.
