In order to find out the measure of x we must make an equation where 180=the sum of the angles

180=2x+62

We got the 2x and the 62 from combining like terms

x+x=2x

73-11=62

Now we simply use algebra and try to solo out the x

First, subtract 62 from both sides

118=2x

Then, divide both sides by 2

59=x

x=59

Then plug in 59 with x and this gives you

73, 59, and 48 which all together add up to 180
