What is the sum of the expressions (12x+6)+(12x−4)?

Answer: 24

Explanation: You’ll have to multiply the numbers. 12x6 = 72. 12x-4 = -48.

72 + (-48)
You remove the parentheses because when there’s a “+” in the front of an expression in parentheses, the expression remains the same.

Therefore, it’s just 72-48. Subtract that and you’ll get 24. Hope this helps! (:
