Option B:

The equation of the given line is y = –4.

Solution:

The points on the line are (–3, –4) and (1, –4).

Here,
x_1=-3,y_1=-4,x_2=1,y_2=-4

Slope of the line:

$m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

$m=(-4-(-4))/(1-3)

$m=(-4+4)/(-2)

m = 0

Slope of the line is 0.

Using point-slope formula,

y-y_1=m(x-x_1)

Here,
x_1=1, y_1=-4, m=0

y-(-4)=0(x-1)

y + 4 = 0

y = –4

The equation of the given line is y = –4.

Hence option B is the correct answer.
