To find the slope you need to use the equation
m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1). (2, 15) and (-8, -5) is (x1, y1) and (x2, y2).
m=(-5-15)/(-8-2)=(-20)/(-10)=2, so the slope of the line that passes through the points -2, 15 and -8, -5 is two.
