The calcualated area of the rectangle M is 1.47

How to determie the area of the rectangle M

From the question, we have the following parameters that can be used in our computation:

The rectangles

Where, we have

Area of L = 12

Using the above as a guide, we have the following:

Area of rectangle M = Area of L * Scale factor²

Substitute the known values into the equation

Area of rectangle M = 12 * (1.4/4)²

Evaluate

Area of rectangle M = 1.47

Hence, the area of the rectangle M is 1.47
