An art museum has 70 paintings there a are 7 rooms in the museum if the painting are split equally between the rooms how many paintings are in each room

Total number of rooms in the museum = 7

Now we have to split the paintings equally in each room.

Let each room has the number of paintings = x

Therefore, total number of paintings in all rooms = 7x

7x = 70

x =
(70)/(7)

x = 10

Therefore, If the paintings are split equally there will be 10 paintings in each room of the museum.
