Answer: There are several consequences, some of which are:

Explanation: I. A greater feeling of social isolation; although it is commonly said that the world is becoming a global village, advancement in technology has greatly limited interpersonal relationships and many people feel lonely and isolated. For example a group of friends having dinner with each busy on their device surfing the virtual web; although they are together but not forming any social bonds.

II. It has resulted in less time spent doing physically present volunteer work. A lot of people at the press of a button make donations and it has been observed that as technology advances, decline has been recorded in face to face volunteer work.

III. Frequency in labour turnover: with advanvement in technology and less interpersonal relationships, searching for jobs is at its easiest and since loyalty is another advantage lost to this process, people are constantly changing jobs.
