Rate of change means the same thing as change in y/change in x.

Notice that each time, the y values

increase by 3 so the change in y is +3.

The change in x is +1 because each time, the x values increase by 1.

So our rate of change is +3/+1 which can be reduced to 3.

So "d" is your answer.
