f(g(x)) simply means g(x) is substituted for x in f(x)=7x^2

Since g(x)=x+1, then f(x)=7(x+1)^2

f(x)=7(x^2+2x+1)

f(x)=7x^2+14x+7

So f(g(x))=7x^2+14x+7

I hope this helps you

f(g(x)) =f(x+1)=7(x+1)^2

f(x+1)=7.(x^2+2x+1)

f(x+1)=7x^2+14x+7
