Answer:
The light rays which are emerging from the lights or generated from that one specific source of energy are seen to be traveling in all possible directions from its reference point, just because there is the phenomenon of divergence which occurs in the whole situation or process.
As, the light rays when originated are in the form of pulses or we can say the energy packets, as they have a very specific direction of movement across the provided area or zone. While, the rays faces the phenomenon of divergence, as they move away from the light source.
The light rays near the lamp are more diverging in nature, as they faces the angle of divergence away from the lamp's position or point of origination.
Yes, the light rays changes there direction due to the fact that there are certain particles which are the light rays concedes when traveling through the medium because it is more obvious that lamps are still used in the daily life by most of the people.
