Solution:

Given that,

ln x = -3

We have to find the solution to equation

From given,

$ln\ x = -3$

Taking base "e" on both sides

$e^(ln\ x) = e^(-3)$

ln and e cancel each other out

Therefore,

$x = e^(-3)\\\\x = 0.04978$

$x \approx 0.05$

Thus the solution to given equation is 0.04978
