Consider the discussion in the "Perry Vows to Secure Border, Spread Red-State Policies" article. Antifederal government sentiment runs high, but when Governor Perry called for conservatives to "wage war" and referenced President Obama as a "hungry, oppressive ruler" and Washington as a "faraway place," many said that he went too far. What do you think? Do Texans consider the national leadership in Washington to be too far out of touch with state values, or is this simply campaign rhetoric of a politician preparing for a second presidential bid? How dangerous do you think it is when a governor of a state as large as Texas asserts that "a little rebellion now and then" is good?

Answer:it is a rhetoric.

Explanation: Perhaps governor Perry's speech could be considered a rhetoric and also what he believes in. He is a republican social conservative who has supported a number of bills. Like banning same sex marriage in Texas in 2005, restricting abortions 2013 and other bills. He also supported and co sponsored "the response USA" an Evangelical Christian rally in 2011. As a governor or public office holder, engaging or supporting a particular ideology against all others is wrong.

Texans consider him to be too far out of touch from reality as he lost in his bid twice from 2012-2016 contesting for presidential elections.

Perry is known to be involved in controversies such as pressuring Ukriane into investing vice president Joe Biden and his son. If he can go to this length then "a little rebellion now and then" is good. Says Perry. Piliticians go to any lenght to achieve their political ambitions.
