Line d has a slope of 7/3. line e is perpendicular to line d. what is the slope of line e?

Perpendicular lines have slopes that are opposite reciprocals.

This means we take a number, flop it over, and change its sign.

Here we have the number:-

Flop it over:-


\boxed{(3)/(7) }\longleftarrow\sf{the~numerator~and~denominator~switch~places}

Change its sign:-


\boxed{-(3)/(7)}

Hence, the slope of line e is:-
