Susan was born deaf to hearing-impaired parents. She is fluent in sign language and successful in school. How will she perform on a standard intelligence test compared with hearing children her age?

Answer:

Susan is very intelligent and understand the sign language at expert level that's why she is successful in school but the standard intelligence test will be in a culture dominant language which is different from sign language, on this test she will not perform because she is not able to hear that language. She is only trained for sign language.
