Here's a question, why would our American government go to war with a foreign country considering defense stops at our borders, we were over there to "eliminate" Osama Bin Laden but we're still over there, why? Is it not invasion at this point? Were we even there as a priority for that "terrorist"? Can anyone do critical thinking and tell me as to why we are really over there?

America has been reducing troop numbers to Afghanistan year after year, with just under 9,000 US troops present in Afghanistan, and is considering withdrawing altogether. The cost of combating terrorism has cost hundreds of lives for U.S. troops, unfortunately in the war on terror, a massive number of civilians have lost their lives, and billions of dollars have been spent. Therefore, there are more and more people who believe that the mission in Afghanistan is over and that it is necessary to withdraw troops back to the country.
