What is your opinion in phone ban in Victoria schools (Australia?)

I don't think its good because in case of something bad happening and the schools not knowing it, the parents can be contacted from the kids. Also, if there is something strange at the school, kids can record it and show the teachers.

and because they cant get experience with technology for when they go into the real world
