Surface area of the prism is 724 square centimeters

Solution:

The surface area of prism is given as:

Surface\ Area = 2B+PH

where

B is the area of the base

P is the perimeter of the base

H is the height of the prism

L = 12 cm

W = 11 cm

H = 10 cm

Find area of base

B = LW\\\\B = 12 * 11\\\\B = 132

Find the perimeter of the base P

P=2(L+W)\\\\\ P=2(12+11)=46\ cm

Find the surface area SA

Surface\ Area =2(132)+(46)(10)\\\\Surface\ Area = 724\ cm^(2)

Thus the surface area of the prism is 724 square centimeters
